How to help Gen Z find the perfect pair of Crocs using cosmic AR & Virtual Try On Snapchat Filters.


THE BRIEF

Amazon Fashion and Crocs wanted to drive product discovery among Gen Z audiences in the UK and Germany, using immersive storytelling and social reach to reframe Crocs as a self-expressive fashion choice.


THE SOLUTION

Rooted in social media’s obsession with fate and filters, Your Crocs Destiny was an AR Tarot Reading Lens on Snapchat that matched users with their perfect pair of Crocs. The experience combined Jibbitz, mystical predictions, and Virtual Try-On tech to deliver a playful, personalised product discovery, wrapped in a surreal, cosmic aesthetic that was unmistakably Crocs.


THE ACTIVATION

Transported to a virtual Tarot tent, users were shown three custom Crocs-themed Tarot cards, each tied to a unique Jibbitz and Crocified fortune. After flipping the camera, their ‘destiny’ was revealed — with a custom pair of Classic Clogs appearing on their feet via AR.
Shoppable buttons linked directly to Crocs on Amazon Fashion. Influencers including Talia Mar, Frieder Sell, and Sabrina Lan led the launch, with additional content rolling out across TikTok, IG Reels, and Stories.


RESULTS

A seamless blend of commerce, culture and AR, the experience hit every KPI, delivering over 13.5 million impressions and 155,500+ clicks, with a +10% uplift in average playtime vs benchmark.
